Dead Businesses Can Live Again
We are in a season of global economic crisis. Because of this season many businesses will die, being challenged by poor revenues. But dead businesses and sources of income can live again irrespective of the economic crisis. This post is written to show you how to revive your dead business. (Adullam Advisor, October 2020)

Key Points
When the cold winds begin to blow, we know that winter is at hand and so it is. We go through the winter season for a few months until God causes a change with warm winds that take us into the summer season. In a similar vein, the global economic crisis is occurring because God has changed the prevailing season over the market. In this season now upon the global market, only businesses (and individuals) operating with the wisdom of God, and the businesses connected to them, will enjoy financial success. This is the message of 1 Corinthians 2:6-12. The current wisdom employed by businesses in the global economy has come to nothing!
God’s wisdom, understanding and knowledge are required to build a successful business. If your business or source of income is dead today, it is because you lacked the wisdom, understanding and knowledge to make it successful. To rectify the situation, you will need to take a journey to Zion the mountain of the Lord. Please note that this is not a physical journey – rather it is a shift in your mentality and view of how business should be done. Once in Zion you open your heart and mind to receive what Zion teaches and instructs you. The teachings and instructions of Zion will show you your mistakes and give to you the blueprint, understanding and knowledge to redevelop and grow your business. This is the message of Isaiah 2:1-4.
This message of Zion as a school for wisdom, understanding and knowledge is further amplified in Isaiah 61:1-4. This scripture explains that you can locate Zion by listening to those sent by God to teach you His ways. For example, this Adullam website is a Zion school suitable to assist those with business challenges. In Zion God’s words will comfort you for the loss of your business and income. He will take away from you the wisdom you had previously employed that did not work. He will teach you His wisdom for business and make you into a tree of righteousness – a fruitful tree.
As I conclude this post there is an important point to note: you must rebuild your business or source of income to glorify God and not yourself. In Isaiah 61:1-4, this principle is emphasized. In the past you have built your business to satisfy your own dreams and aspirations. Now you must build it only to satisfy God’s purposes which He reveals to you. This is very important, else God will not help you revive your business or source of income. The scripture in Matthew 11:28-30 puts this same point in another way: when you come to God for help, you drop your own yoke (your dreams and aspirations for your business) and take on His yoke (glorifying God through your business).
Once you are a tree of righteousness and you understand that it is now about God and not you, then you are ready to rebuild the ruins of your dead business. No matter how dead your business or income is today, it will live again!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with us all. Amen

1 Corinthians 2:6-12 – However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (NKJV)
Proverbs 24:3-4 – Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. (NKJV)
Isaiah 2:1-4 – The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
Many people shall come and say, “come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. (NKJV)
Isaiah 61:1-4 – “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations (NKJV)
Matthew 11:28-30 – Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (KJV)
