You Can Disrupt the Market and Grow Wealth

This post aims to galvanize you into action in the market. It does so by showing you how to disrupt your market and grow wealth through God-given innovative ideas. (September 2021)

Key Points
- According to the Harvard Business Review, “disruption describes a process whereby a smaller company with fewer resources is able to successfully challenge established incumbent businesses.” The smaller company does this by introducing innovative business models that reshape the industry. The term business model refers to a company’s plan for making a profit. It identifies the products or services the business plans to sell, its focus market, the value proposition to customers, and the associated budget. Airbnb and Uber are examples of disruptive business models. They competed with the established ways of doing things and distinguished themselves by delivering great value to customers.
- Industry disruption is God’s specialty. It is His template for managing the global economy. He established this template after the flood in the days of Noah. We are all descendants of Noah, the man whose family survived the flood in which God destroyed all land creatures by water. On Noah’s exit from the ark, God pronounced a blessing on the global economy that remains the basis on which it operates today (Genesis 8:22). This passage of scripture tells us that cold will always be replaced by heat and vice versa, with the winter and summer seasons following suit, etc. This speaks of a constant cycle of disruption. God is always disrupting the global economy. This post has been written to show you how to ride this constant wave of God’s disruption to win in your chosen market.
- This is how the passage of scripture in Genesis 8:22 applies to you:
-
- Seedtime and Harvest – this speaks to investments (seed) in businesses and returns on investments (harvest). Within the context of this post, seedtime is when you invest in a disruptive business model, and the harvest refers to the growth you experience because you reshaped your industry at the expense of the established corporate giants.
- Cold and Heat – these are winds that bring about a change in the prevailing season. When the cold winds begin to blow in August/September, the summer season gives way to the autumn and winter seasons. The converse is true in February/March when the spring and summer seasons take over. These winds represent the disruptive business model ideas God is willing to give to you to reshape the industry in which you operate.
- Winter and Summer – refers to the seasons in which the disruptive business model prevails and becomes a success in the market. The winter season continues for a few months as long as the cold winds prevail against the heat winds. When the heat winds prevail, winter gives way to spring and summer. The process is then repeated in a constant cycle.
- Day and Night – this is when God keeps all others in the dark (night) about the disruptive business model He is about to unleash in the market and reveals it to you (day). This gives you first mover advantage in the market. Please read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8.
- Innovative business models that disrupt industries are hard to come by. Many have tried and failed. A few have succeeded. This post shows you a way to successfully innovate and disrupt your industry.
- You can disrupt your chosen market/industry if you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you both love and fear God. The catalyst to do this is the Sun of Righteousness as described in Malachi 4:1-3. In Genesis 1:14-18 the scriptures identified the natural sun as the catalyst that brings about changes in times and seasons. What winds will blow (cold or heat) and which seasons will prevail in a location (winter or summer), and what level of illumination will be enjoyed (day or night), are determined by the angle of the sun to the given location. While the natural sun determines the climate and seasons of all geographical locations, the Sun of Righteousness among other things determines the times and seasons in all markets and industries.
- Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, wants to dawn upon you in your chosen market. He wants to give you a disruptive innovative business model in righteousness if you will believe this message and ask Him for it. There is a business model reserved for you by God for your market – this is the message of 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. As you pray and seek God, you should also take the trainings on adullamsolutions.com. These trainings will greatly help you along this way.
- In addition to shining upon you, the Sun of Righteousness will also create unfavourable market conditions that will destroy unrighteous players in your chosen market. Over time, this will turn over market share to you as you obey the Holy Spirit and launch out. As Malachi 4:1-3 says – these competing businesses will become ashes for the soles of your feet!
- We conclude this post by reiterating to you that God is a disrupter. Goliath had a 40-day reign of terror until David showed up. Laban used Jacob for 21 years until God gave a disruptive business model that transferred his wealth to Jacob. In Acts 2 the Holy Spirit disrupted the religious system when unlearned Galileans spoke in languages foreign to them. The Apostle Paul and his companions were referred to as men who turned the world upside down in Acts 17:6. You can do the same by allowing God to inspire innovative business models in you that will turn your market right side up. May the poor rejoice because of you.
The mercy and grace of God be with us all. Amen.

Genesis 8:22 – “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.” (NKJV)
1 Thessalonians 5:1-8 – But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. (NKJV)
Malachi 4:1-3 – “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” says the Lord of hosts, “that will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts. (NKJV)
Genesis 1:14-18 – Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. (NKJV)
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 – But as it is written: “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. (NKJV)
Acts 17:6 – But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “these who have turned the world upside down have come here too. (NKJV)
